Marilyn A. Wentzlof's Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Arlene Wentzlof, age 84, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on March 20, 1934 to Ervin and Marion (Popps) Johnson. Marilyn and her husband, Donald, have owned and operated Quality RV for 32 years. She attended Crestwood United Methodist Church. Marilyn was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed crafting, baking, and was a dedicated mother and grandmother. On August 2, 1968 she married Donald C. Wentzlof and he survives her along with four children, Sherri (Mike) Knudsen, Bill (Sandy) DeJonge, Trudy (Jeff) Shunk, Carl (Sheri) Wentzlof; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Bill (Ellen) Johnson; sister, Betty DeJonge; and two brothers-in-law, Jack (Rhonda) Wentzlof and Jim (Joanne) Wentzlof. She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law; brothers, Vern Johnson and Dick Johnson; sister, Joyce Clark; in-laws, Bud Clark, Dolly Kelly, Steve Kelly, and Roger DeJonge. SERVICES will be 3:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Crestwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer Wheeler officiating. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 and one hour prior to her service Saturday at church. MEMORIALS in Marilyn’s memory may be directed to Crestwood United Methodist Church.
