Dear Pete and family,
Our hearts are broken for your loss of Marilynn and yet we rejoice in her new, strong body as she passed to her eternal home. May the Holy Spirit comfort you in your sorrow and bring you peace. Be assured of a glorious reunion one day! Growing up with her in Florida I always admired her sweet caring nature. What a blessing to call her friend!
Pete and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. She was such a great lady! I'm thinking of you Pete. Love, Amy James and family
Pete and Carrie,
My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I will sure miss seeing Marilynn. The love felt between Pete and Marilynn was so strong every time I saw you. We are thinking of you at BCHC. Kim Krueger, Dr. Leroux's nurse
We share our sorrow you all in the loss of Marilyn, your wife, mom, daughter, grandma, sister, cousin and friend. And though she is gone from us, we will remember her frail childhood, the miraculous surgery that repaired her heart, the move to Florida, the exciting get-to-gets when the Floridan cousins came to visit in Michigan, and how she and Pete always traveled from Muskegon to the many family reunions held on the "Farm". We will miss her and have been blessed to call her cousin. May God wrap His arms of love around you all and give you His peace and the comfort you have in the hope of meeting her again. Blessings.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Marilynn's family in her passing. We have many good memories of the family from the visits we made to each others home.
Remembering Marilynn as a very special cousin who was born with a heart defect. I was just a year older. Remember her blue lips and fatigue on exertion as a little girl. Then her surgery at Mayo. Her entire extended family was so thankful for successful surgery. We missed your family when you moved so far away to Florida but were so excited to see Marilynn and all of you when you came back Up North. It was our first exposure to flip flops back in the 50's.
We love Marilyn and Pete, and I'm speaking for Uncle Ed and Aunt Grace too. Marilyn often called Mom and she loved and appreciated that. So thankful that we had that cousins and aunties get together last summer. Marilynn shared her struggles but maintained her sense of humor and quickly gave credit to Pete and Carrie for their loving care. We are praying for you Pete and you Carrie, for Gods comfort during this time. Praising God with you that now Marilynn is face to face with Christ her Saviour.
Sincerely with our love, Carol Morren Bouma and my hubby Paul.
