Marion DeYoung's Obituary
Marion DeYoung, age 100, passed away on April 1, 2020 at Christian Care. She was born on August 11, 1919 to Abel and Albertha (Southland) DeYoung in Muskegon. Prior to 1982, Marion worked for Bennett Pump as the ordering clerk for 25 years. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church and took part in member senior fellowship for many years. Marion also enjoyed plastic canvas weaving and created many gifts for her nieces and nephews. SURVIVORS include two sisters-in-law, Corina DeYoung and Connie DeYoung along with numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Jay (Connie) DeYoung, Harold (Ann) DeYoung , Abel DeYoung and John DeYoung and sister, Katie DeYoung. Burial will be taking place now, followed by a public memorial service and visitation for Marion at a later date once ruling changes with the Covid-19 regulations.
