Mr. Marion "Mike" Leroy's Obituary
Marion “Mike” Leroy Derby, age 81, passed away on January 4, 2014. Mike was born on November 22, 1932 to William and Francis Derby. On July 2, 1955 he married the former Mary Miller. Together they were blessed with 2 daughters. Mike enjoyed retirement along with hunting, woodworking and spending time with friends. He was a member of the VFW and Muskegon Heights Eagles. He was a well-liked individual who will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS include his 2 daughters, Marsha, and Marianne Derby; grandson, Ian Hall; 3 brothers, Robert, Charles (Donna), and Kenneth (Karen) Derby. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary; and brother Don Derby. In accordance with his wishes no services will be held.
