Marjorie E. Baker's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie E. Baker, age 92, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 in Grand Haven. She was born on March 24, 1925 in Muskegon to Peter and Mable (Hanson) Ghezzi and resided in the area all her life. Marjorie was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, where she belonged to their Women’s Circle. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, gardening and cooking her famous spaghetti and desserts for her family whom she loved. On July 20, 1943, she married Glenn Baker and he preceded her in death in 2009. SURVIVORS include five children, Sandra (Jim) Zahrt of N. Muskegon, Tom (Geri) Baker of Muskegon, Tim (Cathy) Baker of N. Muskegon, Gary (Jean) Baker of Muskegon, and Ted (Jenny) Baker of New Era; 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Ghezzi; and sisters-in-law, Donna Baker and Shirley Koekkoek. Marjorie was also preceded in death by brother, Donald Ghezzi. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church (1132 W. Southern Ave.). VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
