Marjorie "Marge" Elnick's Obituary
Marjorie “Marge” June Elnick went to be with her Lord on September 15, 2013. She was 91 years old. Marge was born on June 3, 1922 to Ole and Hazel Sivertson. She was blessed with one child, Mary Jo, whom she loved dearly. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church and was active in their women’s Bible study, teaching Sunday school and providing meals to families in the Church. She worked as a secretary at Sealed Power and retired in 1985. She instilled strong Christian values in her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and all others whose lives she touched. Her favorite family traditions included summer camping trips, coloring Easter eggs and decorating Christmas cookies. Marge was a faithful, loving, giving woman of God who will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS include her daughter Mary Jo (Kenneth) Hollenbeck; grandchildren Mark (Kathy) Hollenbeck, Kristine (David) Gibbs, Kelly (Scott) Merz; great grandchildren Kristin, Bret, Kelsie, Kyle, Abrial; great great granddaughter Keeley; and brother “Sonny”(Debbie) Sivertson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Genevieve Nephew and Patricia Chauvez. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Fellowship Reformed Church, 4200 East Apple Ave. with Rev. Sherwin Weener officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Youth For Christ.
