Mrs. Marjorie Jean Graham's Obituary
Marjorie Jean Graham, age 93, was reunited with her husband Lyle in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Marge was born on January 13, 1923 to Walter and Hazel Gerst. In 1946 she married Lyle Graham, and together they enjoyed 66 years of marriage until his passing in 2013. Marge was a charter member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Later in life she also attended Muskegon First Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling to Florida for the winter, and being with her family. She was a fashionable, strong-willed, witty, faithful, dedicated woman of God. She will be deeply, deeply missed by family, friends and all those who loved her. Marge is survived by 2 children, Patricia Sikkenga, and Robert (Susan) Graham; 5 grandchildren, Scott (Susan) Sikkenga, Debra (Dan) Altstadt, Brian (Sarah) Sikkenga, Zach Graham, and Brett Graham; 6 great-grandchildren, Adam Sikkenga, Lauren Sikkenga, Bryce Sikkenga, Georgia Altstadt, Oscar Altstadt, Samuel Sikkenga, and Nakia (Dennis) Pierce; great-great grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan and Kirstin;1 great-great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle; brother, Merrill Gerst; and sister, Althea Foote. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11AM at First Evangelical Lutheran Church 1206 Whitehall Rd. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Harbor Hospice.
