Marjorie A. Hampton's Obituary
Marjorie Ann “Marge” Hampton, age 84, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Trinity Health – Muskegon. She was born October 23, 1937 in Muskegon to Russell R. and Eva (Cagle) Dietderich and lived all of her life in the area. Marge married Amos B. Hampton on August 25, 1975 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2011. Marge worked over 20 years as the lunchroom hostess for Consolidated Vendors Corporation. She enjoyed playing card games, puzzles, reading and spending time with her great grandson. She was a member of Connection Point Church of Muskegon. Survivors include 4 children, Nancy Hampton, Michael Earnest, Donald (Kathy) Hampton, Danny (Janet) Hampton; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Pam Ashley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Hampton and her son, James Hampton. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 20, 2022 at Connection Point Church (2270 S. Milliron Rd.) with Pastor Aaron Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Connection Point Church.
