Marjorie Ila Holtrop's Obituary
Marjorie Ila Holtrop age 92, of Coopersville passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville.
She was born on April 3, 1923 in Crockery Township, MI to the late George L. and Jennie (Sikkenga) Langlois. She married Lyle Gert Holtrop on November 7, 1942 in Spring Lake, MI.
Marjorie is survived by: son James (Jan) Holtrop of Conklin, daughter Dawn Holtrop of Grand Rapids , 6 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Lyle, 7 Siblings: Arthur, Louis, Robert, Adrian, Harry Langlois, Dorothy Homoly and Betty Eagle.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed on Monday, July 20. 2015 at 12:00 pm at St. Catherines Catholic Church in Ravenna. The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 4-6 pm to greet family and friends and again on Monday 1 hour prior to mass at the church. The rosary will be prayed at 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Marne.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to: Salvation Army.
