Marjorie Klintworth's Obituary
Marjorie Dawn Klintworth, age 82, of Spring Lake passed away Monday, September 19, 2005, at a Muskegon hospital. Born May 7, 1923, to Archie and Clara (DeWitt) Cooper in Muskegon, she married Lloyd Klintworth on March 19, 1940 in Spring Lake. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1966.
Marjorie resided in Spring Lake most of her life and was formerly a bus driver for Spring Lake Public Schools from September 1959 until retiring in 1992. She enjoyed crocheting afghans for family and friends; was an avid camper; loved reading books; doing word search books; and watching her kids and grandkids sporting events.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon (Darwin) Cumings and Kathleen “Kip” Klintworth; three sons, Richard (Nancy) Klintworth, Bruce (Marlene) Klintworth, and Paul (Nancy) Klintworth; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; her aunt Helen DeWitt, and sister-in-law Margaret Klintworth Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bob and Everett Cooper.
A memorial service for Marjorie D. Klintworth will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake.
