Mrs. Marjorie "Marge" Rake's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie L. Rake, age 67, passed away March 15, 2012. She was born in Muskegon on October 4, 1944 to Joseph and Gladys (Schaallema) Vledder. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Muskegon. On September 3, 1966 she married Vernon H. Rake and they enjoyed 45 years of marriage. Her family and grandchildren were the center of her life. She also had a lifelong passion for crafts and had her own craft business for many years. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; children, Lori Rake, Suzanne (Fred) Ferenczhalmy, Joseph Rake; grandchildren, Noah, Megan and Zak Ferenczhalmy; sisters, Marva Paul, JoAnn Ritsema, Gerri Vledder. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilyn Unseld; brother-in-law, Charles Paul. The memorial service for Marjorie will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Lee Chapel. A time of visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 6 – 8 P.M. at the Lee Chapel and 1 hour prior to the memorial service on Wednesday from 10 - 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice and St. Mark Lutheran Church.
