Marjorie Ruth Rozeboom's Obituary
Marjorie Rozeboom, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She was born April 25, 1927 to Leslie and Lillian (VandenWater) Wills in Zeeland, MI. Marjorie was a member of Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship Church. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marjorie never left the house not dressed to perfection. Her sense of laughter and life filled conversations with joy. Marjorie lived by example, simply reflecting quiet courage, strength of spirit, and firm faith. Her small stature was packed with purpose, love, hope, and determination. Marjorie’s gift she leaves is of grand optimism and that through love, all things are possible. She will be missed by all who knew her. Marjorie is survived by her children, Pamela J. (Richard) Bateman, Don (Pauline) Rozeboom, Sally (Ted) Woods; grandchildren, Carrie (Adam), Scott (Lindsay), Adam (Alicia), Paul, Kristin; great-grandchildren, Charlize, Daniel, Destiny, Cheyenne, Aiden, Noah, Gabby, Bud; brother, Gerald (Bernie) Wills; sisters, Lois (Carl) Hunt, Noneen (Gary) Roen; and dear friend, Eloise. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, Scott; sisters, Joan, Marian, Marcie; brothers, William and Kenny. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Marjorie will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lakeshore Fellowship Church (16790 VanWagoner St) with visitation an hour prior to services. Burial will take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland, MI. Memorial contributions in Marjorie’s name can be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
