Marjorie Fern Senf's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie Fern Senf, age 85, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 13, 1931 to Emil and Bertha (Juillerat) Segelstrom. Marjorie loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Edgewood Lutheran Church. She was passionate about serving others and donated many handmade baby layettes to Love, INC. Marjorie enjoyed quilting and various arts and crafts. On November 19, 1983, Marjorie married Oaklan R. Senf and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2009. She is survived by two children, Sherry Bunting of Muskegon and Robert Levine of Huntsville, AL; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two sisters, Ida “Punk” McClees and Judy Kosheba. In addition to her husband, Oaklan, Marjorie was preceded in death by three daughters, Theresa Pearson, Carol Levine and Mary Dresen; her parents; four brothers, George, Robert, David and Emil Segelstrom; four sisters, Elizabeth Webb, Catherine Chesney, Margaret Stevens and Jane Feister; one granddaughter, Lupe Hernandez and her children’s father, Louis Levine. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Earl P. Merz officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fremont, Michigan.
