Marjorie A. Schnotala's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie A. Schnotala, age 80, died in the comfort of her home with her son and niece by her side on Thursday, November 4, 2010. She was born November 1, 1930 in Muskegon to Jack and Mae Pender. She married Donald A. Schnotala in Muskegon on April 30, 1949 and had 2 children, Brad and Barbara Ann Schnotala. Her husband died April 20, 1989. Preceded also in death by her daughter, Barbara, parents, adoptive father, Joe Kersting, brother, Robert Kersting. Survived by her son, Brad Schnotala and brother, Bernard Kersting. She worked 35 years at Michigan Spring Co. and retired in 1991. She volunteered for 18 years at Hackley Hospital Gift Shop. She enjoyed her family and friends and special trips to LasVegas. She also greatly enjoyed the company of her 3 poodles over the years, Kelly, Misty and Brandi. There will be no official service or visitation. A Private Graveside memorial and prayer was held at Mona View Cemetery with Rev. Chuck VanLente officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy V.N.S. & Hospice Service.
