Marjorie Ann McKeon's Obituary
Marjorie Ann McKeon, age 54, of Holland passed away Monday, April 27, 2009, at Holland Hospital. She was born October 18, 1954, in Grand Haven, to Dwight and Margaret (Lehmann) King. Marjorie married Pete McKeon on July 10, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marjorie was a program manager with Hope Network and she loved her job, especially working with her special needs clients. She loved Art and enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Pete, 3 daughters: Jennifer Postma of Holland, MI, Monica (Brad) Howser of Allegan, MI, and Desiree Fricke of Holland; 6 sons: Eric (Sue) Borgman of Holland, Chris Borgman of Twin Lake, MI, Dan (Sara) Borgman of West Olive, MI, Dominick McKeon of Holland, Michael McKeon and Mark McKeon, both of Kalamazoo, MI; 11 grandchildren; her father, Dwight King; 5 sisters: Sue (Mike) Marr of South Haven, Carol King of Grand Haven, Jeanette King of Valdez, Alaska, Cathy (Roland) Vaandering of Grand Haven, and Tammy Yahne of Grand Haven; 6 brothers: Leroy (Deb) Yahne of Caledonia, MI, Bob King of Grand Haven, Doug (Sherry) Robinson of Adrian, MI, David (Lorrie) King of Florida, Ron (Shawntell) Yahne of Newago, MI and, Bill (Regina) King of Grand Haven; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, her granddaughter Grace Borgman, and her brother, Robert Yahne.
The service for Marjorie will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, and also one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery.
