Marjorie C. Hiza's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie C. Hiza, age 93, died early Monday morning, December 22, 2003. She was born July 16, 1910 in Muskegon to Claude J. and Bertha (Christophersen) Miller and had been a life resident. Mrs. Hiza worked for Muskegon Paper Box for 27 years before retiring in 1973. She was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church and belonged to the Friendship Circle. Mrs. Hiza loved to talk about her boys, and also was an avid reader. On May 25, 1929, she married George Hiza in South Bend, IN and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1977. SURVIVORS include her son, Claude J. (special friend, Dianne Scanlon) Hiza of Muskegon; sister, Bertha McCrea of N. Muskegon; 2 nephews, and 1 niece. She was also preceded in death by a son, George Z. Hiza; 2 sisters, Alda and Nellie; 2 brothers, Claude and Warner; and a special friend, Caroline Hiza. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Calvin Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Ron Nyenhuis officiating. VISITATION will be from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday morning at the church. MEMORIALS to the Calvin Christian Reformed Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated. Arrangements by
