Marjorie F. Nixon's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie F. Nixon, age 89, passed away at Hillcrest Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2006. She was born on June 22, 1917 to Frank and Pearl (Rhino) Belrose in Caspian, MI. Mrs. Nixon had a great love for photography and took many pictures of family and friends. On April 18, 1936 she married John “Jack” Sibson Sr. and he lost his life at war in Germany on October 15, 1944. On December 1, 1951 she married, Lyle Nixon in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on August 1, 1972. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters-in-law, Stella Sibson and Mary Lou Sibson; 5 grandchildren, Tracy, Diane, Jean, Brenda, JoAnn and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Nixon was preceded in death by 2 sons, John Jr. and James; and 1 grandson, Frank. A Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Friday at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski officiating.
