Marjorie Pearl (Jeffrey) Strejcek's Obituary
Mrs. Marjorie Pearl (Jeffrey) Strejcek, age 89, died after a short illness at Mercy Hospital on July 25, 2007. Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Leo H. Jeffrey and her second husband of 18 years, George Strejcek, both of Muskegon. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Stanley (Blossom) Kass of Ravenna, MI and her brother, Wayne Drugan of Minneapolis, MN. Margie lived in Muskegon until 1966 and moved with Leo to Minneapolis before retuning to Muskegon in 1978. During her early years in Muskegon, Margie worked at the VA Hospital and than as a Realtor for Bill Greenwood, before becoming a homemaker. She loved country music, playing the horses, and the Green Bay Packers. Margie is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Patricia) Shaw of Armona, CA; granddaughter, Becky Shaw of Lemoore, CA; brother, Joseph E. Schmitz of Mt. Vernon, OR and many nieces, nephews, and friends. SERVICES will be 1 PM Tuesday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1 PM. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
