Mark G. Lander's Obituary
Mark G. Lander, age 55, passed away courageously Friday, September 24, 2021 after battling cancer. He was born on December 20, 1965 to Charles and Donna Jo (Hanke) Lander. He was a dedicated employee of Mahle, where he worked as an engineer for 27 years. On September 6, 2014 he married the former, Brandy Hutson in Interlochen, MI. Together they cherished 7 years full of love, laughter and adventure. Mark was known for his love of tinkering and always working of various projects. He was an avid repair man, who loved to complain about his ‘honey-do” list. Mark also had a love for motorcycles and was a member of the Muskegon Motorcycle Club. He and Brandy loved taking the bike out for a ride. Mark was an incredibly one of a kind man, who will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Brandy Lander; 5 children, Andrew (Danika Brunner) Lander, Alyssa (Jeremy) Lander-King, Kaitlyn (Ty Tenbrink) DeWeerdt, Haley DeWeerdt and Aiden DeWeerdt; father, Charles Lander; 2 grandchildren, Owen Brunner and Kaiden Lander; and cousin, Kenny Willcutt. He was welcomed into heaven by his mother, Donna Jo Lander; and aunt, Susie Willcutt. A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at the family’s home on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
