Mark A. Mulder's Obituary
Mark A. Mulder, age 79, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Muskegon. He was born on February 21, 1936 to Willis and Ruth (VanLente) Mulder in Holland, MI. Mark served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Eagles 3214 in Whitehall. He retired from Redeker Ford in Grand Haven as the used car manager and then worked for other car dealerships part-time following retirement. Mark was a people person and enjoyed golf, watching sporting events, snowmobiling and hunting. He also enjoyed reading and learning about history. On July 18, 1962 he married DonEva M. Jeffries and they were married for 51 years prior to her passing away in 2013. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Dan (Kim) Mulder and Roger Mulder, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Phyllis (Don) Bocks, Marge (Bill) Bocks, Maxine (Don) Miller and Mary Gulbrandsen. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-7 PM Wednesday. MEMORIALS to American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Burial will take place at Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall.
