Marlene Kay Klintworth's Obituary
Marlene Kay Klintworth, age 72, of Spring Lake passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at The Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence. She was born July 29, 1950, in Muskegon to Earl B. and Lorraine Anna (Zimmer) Cook. She married Bruce Klintworth on November 29, 1969, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marlene was the purchasing manager at Shape Corporation. She loved playing cards, socializing and throwing parties. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially the grandkids. Marlene was a mom to many family friends and always had an open door and a hug of encouragement.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bruce Klintworth; daughter, Amy (Phillip) Robinson; son, Michael (Amy) Klintworth; four grandchildren: Elena Robinson, Benjiman Klintworth, Charlotte Robinson and Olivia Klintworth; her sister, Rosemary Olson and her brother, David (Evie) Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Terri Cook, Ruthie Regelin and Kathleen Englert and her brother, Nicholas Cook.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials to The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence or Gift of Life Michigan are appreciated.
