Marlene S. Van Wingerden's Obituary
Mrs. Marlene S. Van Wingerden, age 73, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Grand Rapids. She was born on March 7, 1944 in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Bertha (Berkowitz) Levine. Marlene worked as a teacher for many years in the Mount Clemens, school district before moving to the Muskegon area. She enjoyed golfing, pickle ball, and line dancing, and belonged to the Eagles, VFW and American Legion with her husband, Jack. On October 25, 1984 in Detroit, she married Jack Van Wingerden, and he survives her along with 2 children, Laurie Meadows of Ft. Davis, TX and Aaron Meadows of Madison Heights, MI; grandson, Jacob; and brother, Robert Levine. There will be no services for Marlene. Share memories with the family online at www.sytsemafh.com.
