Marlene R. LeRoux's Obituary
Mrs. Marlene R. LeRoux, age 72, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at home. She was born September 10, 1936 in South Bend, IN to Maurice and Viola (Yerdon) Jenson, and resided in the area most of her life. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where she was a kindergarten Sunday School teacher for 30 years, a member of The Muskegon Heights Eagles, and enjoyed camping, dancing and spending time with her family. On May 4, 1957 she married Eugene E. LeRoux, and he survives her along with 3 children, Nanette Cass of Muskegon, Dale LeRoux of Norton Shores, and Jason (Tiffany) LeRoux of Holton; 2 grandchildren, Madisen and Ethan; 2 brothers, Frank (Carol) Jensen and Don (Pat) Jensen both of Muskegon, and a sister, Betty (Clare) Cooper of Grand Haven. Mrs. LeRoux was preceded in death by sister, Lenore Kieft. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 2 PM Friday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. Dr. Randall R. Hansen officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM. Memorial Contributions to Hackley Visiting Nurse Services will be appreciated.
