Marsha Kay Hoekstra's Obituary
Marsha Kay Hoekstra, age 71, went to heaven Thursday April 1, 2021. She was born October 5, 1949 in Muskegon to Tom and Louise (Goven) Ruiter. Marsha was a 1967 graduate of Mona Shores High School and had attended Michigan State University. She loved boating in Michigan and Florida and watching her daughter, Traci, perform in singing competitions in Florida. She was also a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. Marsha is survived by her son, Paul (Becky) Hoekstra of Muskegon; brother, Greg (Carol) Ruiter of Muskegon; sister, Nancy (Jay) Milkamp of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Traci Hoekstra, in 2011. A Celebration of Marsha’s Life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Calvin Christian Reformed Church (973 W. Norton Ave., Muskegon, MI 49441) with Pastor Mark Milkamp officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to the Noah Project will be appreciated.
