Mrs. Martha K. "Marnie" Cole's Obituary
Mrs. Martha K. “Marnie” Cole, age 79, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on July 12, 1934 to Floyd and Rose (Woods) Neiser and was a life resident of the area. Marnie graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1952. She loved being active in her children’s lives and enjoyed volunteering with their Girl Scouts and 4-H clubs. She also enjoyed bowling and playing Bunco. On May 19, 1956, Marnie married James L. Cole in Muskegon and he survives her along with two children, Leisa K. (Michael) Galbreath and Larry L. (Annette) Cole; four grandchildren, Scott, Christina (Greg), Erin and Amy; 7 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Richard (Louise) Neiser and Robert Neiser. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters and one brother. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with Rev. John Brown officiating. VISITATION will be one-hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
