Martha M. "Marty" Wolf's Obituary
Mrs. Martha M. “Marty” Wolf, 86, passed away Saturday evening, February 24, 2024, in Muskegon. She was born October 25, 1937, to Raymond E. and Helen (DeSulima) Graves in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Marty was a member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church, and enjoyed sewing, crafting, reading, and gardening. She was a dedicated educator, teaching in the Fruitport Public School system for 35 years before retiring in 1995. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Wolf; grandson Ryan Cronk, granddaughter Elizabeth (Dan) Pirrotta, great-grandson Clayton Pirrotta, great-grandson Chase Pirrotta, great-granddaughter Alicia Leslie, great-granddaughter Katie Kolbe, sister Janet Wheeler, sister Carol (Jack) Parker, lifelong friend Rochelle Cronk, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Amy M. Kolbe, and her special friend John Seelman. A celebration of Marty’s life will be held Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. Because this is a service of celebration for a life well lived, the family is requesting that bright and uplifting attire be worn.
