Mrs. Martha Sipple 's Obituary
Mrs. Martha Sipple, age 79, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at a local nursing facility. Martha was born July 29, 1935 in Rayne, LA to Joseph and Solange Hanks. On December 4, 1955, she married Howard C. Sipple in New Iberia, LA and he survives her. Howard and Martha were members of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Martha was a wonderful homemaker and she loved her family and the church. She was a very devoted mother, caring for her special needs sons. In addition to Howard, her husband of 58 years, Martha is survived by 6 children, Donald Richard Sipple of Muskegon, Lawrence Paul Sipple of Muskegon, Brian Dale (Jackie) Sipple of Hesperia, Edward Joseph (fiancee' Dawn Barrone) Sipple of Muskegon, Patti (Joe) Dempsey of Grand Haven, and Sue (Ted) Maier of Caledonia; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mildred Boudreaux, Bertha Hanks-Tenney, and Connie (Warren) Pellerin, all of New Iberia ,LA; and many nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and her parents. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, The Marian Chapel, 2929 McCracken, with Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding. VISITATION will be held Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd, 231-759-8565 with the Rosary being prayed at 6 PM. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
