Martha "Martie" VanderStelt's Obituary
Mrs. Martha “Martie” VanderStelt, age 85, passed away early Friday morning, October 24, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born July 4, 1923 to Gerritt and Bertha (Beintum) TenBrink in Muskegon, and was a life-long resident of this area. Martie had worked for Reith-Riley Contruction, was a former long-time member of East Muskegon Christian Reformed Church, and currently attended Hope Reformed Church. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary. On June 14, 1946 Martie married Clarence VanderStelt, and he preceded her in death April 15, 2004. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, C. Dennis (Carole) VanderStelt of Norton Shores, Larry VanderStelt of Grandville; 4 grandchildren,Todd (Andrea), Trent (Lori), Tara (Mike) Wright, and Jenna; 1 grand-daughter-in-law, Bridget; 4 great-grandchildren, Ava Rose, Corbin Troy, Lainey, and Matthew; 1 brother, Les TenBrink. She was also preceded in death by grandson, Troy VanderStelt, on July 1, 2008. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 1, at
