Marti Bourdon's Obituary
Mrs. Marti Bourdon, age 66, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 1, 1953 to Leo and Teresa (Goncer) Linck. Marti was a Registered Nurse at Hackley Hospital and Mercy’s Johnson Cancer Center prior to her retirement. She was an active member and volunteer at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church. Marti enjoyed sunsets, walking, reading, and spending time at the beach. Most importantly, Marti loved her family and friends, and especially cherished time with her grandchildren. On May 31, 1975, Marti married Bruce Bourdon. He survives her along with their children, Joe (Patty) Bourdon, Beth (Brendan) Bolhuis, and Laura (Chad) Gerencer; five grandchildren, Olivia, Jack, Ava, Reese, and Gwenyth; her sister, Mary (David) Kirvan; brothers, Leo Linck, David (Suzanne) Linck, and Joe (Jackie) Linck; and many nieces and nephews. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49441. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church (920 Fulton St, Grand Haven, MI 49417). MEMORIALS in Marti’s memory may be directed to Muskegon Rescue Mission, Love INC., or Wings of Mercy.
