Martin L. Czinder's Obituary
Martin L. Czinder, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born on September 12, 1948 to Martin and Gladys (Brock) Czinder in Grand Haven, MI. He was a long-time resident of Spring Lake, MI and has always remained in West Michigan. He was a graduate of Spring Lake High School class of 1966. Martin worked for many years in manufacturing and enjoyed his time at both BR Metal and Automatic Spring before retiring in 2010. He married the former Karen Monroe in 2014 in Muskegon and together they cherished 7 years full of love, laughter and numerous adventures. Martin was a true outdoorsman! He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. He also had a love for motorcycles and his pup, Abby. Martin was a one-of-a-kind man and had the determination to accomplish anything he set his mind to. He will always be remembered for his spontaneous and outgoing personality. He will truly be missed by so many friends, coworkers and family. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Czinder; 3 children, Russell (Thanomsri) Czinder, Jennifer (Ray) Smith and Shannon Anderson; 2 step-sons, Brian (Audrey) Monroe and Eric Monroe; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marsha (Harold) Graham and Maureen (Joe) Sherman; brother, Lonnie (Nancee) Czinder; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; and mother of his children, Luella Czinder. A Celebration of Martin’s Life will be held from 1:00-3:00PM on Monday, October 4, 2021 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
