Martin “Marty” J. Hornak, Sr., age 94, of Robinson Township passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon. He was born November 5, 1912, in Chicago, IL, to Martin and Johanna Horn Read Obituary
I was raised on Pennoyer Street in Grand Haven and Marty was our mailman.
He asked people on his route to save dandilions for him so he could make wine. He always had lunch at Lample's grocery store. Terry Krawczyk asked me to play Santa Claus at St. Anthony's one year and I had Marty sit on my lap. He was a nice man and liked everyone.##imported-begin##Richard Benedict##imported-end##
