Mr. Marty Marian Neff's Obituary
Marty Marian Neff, age 62, of Muskegon, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Marty was born on July 29, 1955 in Paris, Illinois to Fred and Virginia (Hayden) Neff. On June 26, 2005, he married Sandra Alvesteffer. Marty really enjoyed his sports, mainly the University of Michigan, the Cardinals, and the Cowboys. He was also a fantastic golfer. He was employed with the City of Muskegon as a Customer Service Representative in the Inspections Department where he was a distinguished employee for 19 years. Marty is survived by his step-mother, Ann Neff; wife, Sandra; children; Jennifer (Ryan) Wheeler, Tony (Amy) Rusin, and Heather (Keith) Griffin; grandchildren, Samantha (Randy) Korstanje, Shiloh Sias, Emelia Rusin, Kanen Rusin, Destiny Wheeler, and Madison Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Chase, Aubrie, Anjala and Blake Larabee; brothers, Stan (Joan) Neff and Terry Neff; stepsister, Carol Priebe; and stepbrother, Dale (Ruth) Eustler. Funeral Mass will be held 2 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 239 W. Clay Ave. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday with a Rosary at 7:30 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Nicholas Wypa Scholarship Fund.
