Marva Jean Anderegg's Obituary
Marva Jean Anderegg of North Muskegon, MI, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born on April 30, 1929, to Lottie and Herman Ericksen. Marva married her high school sweetheart, and was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Harry, for an incredible 74 years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Together, they raised their son, Rick, with boundless love and care, creating a close-knit and supportive family. She retired after a 29-year career as an ophthalmological assistant. Marva will always be remembered for her passion for baking delicious treats, tending to her vegetable garden, and cherishing moments spent with her family. She was a dedicated choir member for over 3 decades in her church, and her commitment to her Lutheran faith was unwavering. Marva’s spirit will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
Marva was predeceased by parents Lottie and Herman Ericksen and siblings Herman Jr., Joyce, Norma, and Louis. She is survived by her husband, Harry, son, Rick (Fern), and grandchildren, Lauren and Alex (Morgan).
A Celebration of Marva’s life will be held on Friday, June 7th at 2 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. Visitation will begin at 1 PM.
