Mrs. Marva Jean Stroud's Obituary
Marva Jean Stroud, age 73, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. Marva was born on September 8, 1943 to Lavern and Jean McRoberts. In 1964 She married Albert Stroud and together they were blessed with 52 years of marriage. Marva worked in a law office for many years during her career. She enjoyed bowling, going to the farmer’s market, daily trips to Brooklyn Bagel to visit her friends, traveling, visiting the lake and most of all her family. Marva lived life to its fullest. She was a loving, joyful, spirited, faithful woman of God who will be deeply missed. Marva is survived by her husband Albert; daughter, Shannon (Chris) Brannam; grandchildren, Ryan Brannam, Kaylee (Joe) Tokarczyk; great-grandchildren, Adyn, Brysten, Phoenix, Maura and one on the way, Teagan; brother Phil McRoberts; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday September 24, 2016 at 11AM at the First Wesleyan Church 1040 E. Forest Ave. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. Memorial Contributions can be made to The First Wesleyan Church or the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
