Marvel L. Hansen's Obituary
Marvel Leone Hansen age 97, of Ravenna, MI died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 with her loving niece at her side.
Marvel was born on September 30, 1913 in Nunica, Michigan to the late Ernest and Inex (Nuhn) Plant. She married the late Jens R. Hansen and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Marvel is survived by: 2 Niece’s Candace Busman of Ravenna and LaNee Tice. 3 Nephews: Kent (Lynda) Waller, Rick (Jeree) Waller and Lee (Karen) Plant.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Husband of 67 years Jens, 2 Sisters: Ernestine Waller, and Marjorie Plant. 2 Brothers: Dale and Don Plant, brother in law Douglas Waller, sisters in law Judy and Eva Plant and Niece Joyce Vanderwest.
Marvel was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed hunting, fishing with her husband and being with her family as much as she could. Her smile and laughter was infectious, and everyone who met her loved being in her company. She live a long and happy life.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate her life will take place in the late spring with her sister Marjorie.
