Marvin "Marv" T. Pike Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Marvin T. “Marv” Pike, age 71, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on Friday, October 16, 2020 in Muskegon. He was born on May 15, 1949 in Muskegon to Marvin and Ardith (Strohm) Pike, Sr. and resided in the area all of his life. Marv worked at Standard Automotive for 33 years. He loved tinkering with everything, but especially things in his yard. Marv loved the movie “Top Gun”, and knew the sound track by heart. But the most important thing in Marv’s life was his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. On April 2, 1971, he married the former Mary VanHemert and she survives him along with their three children, Greg (Summer) Pike and their children, Ethan, Logan and Austin Pike; Becky (Tom) Sharum and their children, Heather Burnham, Tyler (Samantha) Burnham and Ryan (Stephanie) Burnham; and Karen (Shawn) McNeilly and their children, Brandon Lemieux, Kylie McNeilly and Khloe McNeilly; three great grandchildren; father, Marvin Pike, Sr.; brother, Larry Pike; and sister, Charlene Pike.
