Marvin H. Lorenz, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Marvin H. Lorenz, Sr. age 72, passed away at home, December 4, 2003, from a lingering illness. He was born December 7, 1930 in Muskegon Hts, and has resided here all his life. He was married to the former Joanne E. Cregg on June 3, 1961. He was employed at American Coil Springs, E.H. Sheldon and retired from Fitzpatrick Electric. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid race car fan and helped work on his sons’ race cars. He also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife Joanne of 42 years, and also by his two sons, Marvin (Shelly) and Clyde (Angie); and his two daughters, Doris (DuWayne) Prell and Susanna (Bob) Williams; nine grandchildren, Jamie and Josh Lorenz, Andy, Jessica, and Dylan Lorenz, Christopher and Emily Prell, and Shane and Jodi Williams; 3 brothers, Chuck, Ed and Arnold Lorenz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Clara Lorenz; 1 son, Christopher, sister Dorothy Wagner; 1 brother, Donald Lorenz and his in-laws, Verlin and Doris Cregg.
