Mary Anne and I shared a house for a year before she met her husband. We were both at the Spring Lake School. She was a great friend. Ruth Kellogg Makin, Montana.
I will always cherish visiting Aunt Mary Anne. She will be missed
So sorry I’m not able to be make it to the visitation or funeral but please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I have many fond memories of Aunt Mary Anne. Spent a few summers in Michigan when I was young. When Scott was an infant, Mary Anne trusted me to take him around the block in his carriage. Thinking of Uncle Roger and family during this emotional time!
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Not only was Mary Anne our neighbor but was also my CCD teacher. She was a gental lovely person.
I was in her first Spanish class. She was a patient and caring teacher. RIP. Connie (Wilkinson)Poulin.
When Mary Anne moved to Spring Lake to be the librarian, she lived in my parent’s apartment in our house before she met Roger. She remained good friends with my mom for many years. I remember her fondly and always appreciated her. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Sending our heartfelt sympathies to all the family. Maryanne was a special gal, a saint.
To my Beautiful Sister, MaryAnne, because you were 8yrs older than me you had a big influence on my life. As kids you disciplined us more than Mom and Dad did. When you became a Mother I couldn’t wait to see you discipline your kids like that, but instead, you were always so calm and gentle with them. As kids you always loved to read and I was so impressed that you had so many books that Daddy built you your own bookshelf. You also had a major impact on me when you went to college and received your degrees. That inspired me to also go to college and get my degree. I never told you any of this and now I wish I had. So I pray that you are reading this from Heaven and you realize how positively you influenced me. I love you and miss you very much MaryAnne. Margaret
