Mary Evelyn Beach's Obituary
Mary Evelyn ‘Inky’ Beach left this world April 10, 2020 to go to her Heavenly Father. She was born November 7, 1939, the daughter of the late Albert and Florence Leslie. ‘Inky’ was raised in Decker, Michigan and graduated in 1957 from Cass City High School where she met her husband to be Ross Beach. After graduating from high school, Inky attended Taylor University. After completing her studies, she married Ross September 2, 1960 and later worked as the head of the laboratory at Oakland Hospital in Marshall, Michigan. She and her husband then served as missionaries with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) for 46 years. She and her husband served in Korea, Chad and Inky later became the administrator for the Central Asia Consultation. Inky traveled extensively and influenced others from a number of nations, tribes and languages. She was a cheerful and kind person who was always there for people at every turn. She set an example of kindness and faithfulness to the Lord. She always planted seeds of love, respect, teaching, sharing, grace and commitment to her Lord. Inky is survived by her husband Ross and daughter Bethanne Gennette (Steve); sisters Margaret Sefton of Snover, Beatrice Wallace of Owosso, Jean Behr (Larry) of Brown, City and a brother Dale Leslie (Audrey) of Decker; her Brother in Law Stan Beach (Ellen) of Seminole, Florida and two grand-children Andre-Ross and MiAnna Gennette.
