Ms. Mary Lou Buttis' Obituary
Ms. Mary Lou Buttis, age 58, passed away on February 19, 2015. Mary Lou was born on July 7, 1956 to Ralph and Margaret Bennett. She worked as a waitress at several area restaurants in her life including G&L and Doo Drop. Mary Lou enjoyed playing bingo, pull-tabs, going to the casino and cooking. Mary Lou especially loved her grandchildren. She was an independent, strong-willed, giving, and thoughtful, friend, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Mary Lou is survived by her companion David Mann; son, James Barber; daughter, Michelle Freeland; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Ralph and Michael Bennett; and her special 4 legged friend Gizmo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Barbara Seitz. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11AM on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
