Mary "Polly" Cryderman's Obituary
Mrs. Mary P. “Polly” Cryderman, age 90, passed away early Thursday morning, January 19, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born January 2, 1933, in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Polly had been an active member of the former Lakeside United Methodist Church and was currently a member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. She was Registered Nurse and had worked at Hackley Hospital before raising her family. She was a Girl Scout Co-leader and had also volunteered at the “Y”. On February 2, 1955, Polly married Glen R. Cryderman and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1998. Survivors include four children: Janet L. (Peter) Dumas, Bradley G. (Gina) Cryderman, Laura L. (Lee VanWeelden) DeWald, Diane E. (Greg Glowacki) Cryderman; three Grandchildren: Mark (Amanda Durham) Cryderman, Sarah Blalock, James (Courtney Bass) DeWald; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Murray Poland, Tobit (Barb) Poland; one sister: Sydney Edlund; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother Duncan Poland. A memorial visitation for Polly will be held Saturday, April 15, from 1-3PM in The Lee Chapel Family Center, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Cryderman may be made to Lake Harbor United Methodist Church or Family Promise of the Lakeshore. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI 49441.
