Mary Nell Deyo's Obituary
Mary Nell Deyo, age 84, passed away Tuesday morning, July 28, 2020. She was born October 13, 1935 in Kuttawa, KY to John and Mary (Woodruff) Doom. Mary was a 1953 graduate of Muskegon High School and on September 5, 1953, she married Harry J. Deyo in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2003. Mary worked as a loan officer in the Muskegon area for 30 years prior to her retirement in 2003. She is survived by her son, Kevin Deyo of Traverse City; two grandchildren: Brooke and Eric; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother, Chester (Donna) Doom; and a sister-in-law, Marlene (Lee) Saylor. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen (Leann) Deyo; and sister, Sylvia Bowerman. According to her wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harry, in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
