Mary Beth Fowler's Obituary
Mary Beth Fowler, age 60, passed away Tuesday evening, September 5, 2017. She was born August 14, 1957 to Kenneth and Margaret (Johnson) Miller. Mary was a 1975 graduate of Mona Shores High School. On August 28, 2004, she married Eugene “Gene” Fowler in Muskegon. Mary was a licensed daycare provider for 21 years, had worked 13 years for Charter Communications, and then 3 years with Michigan Office Solutions. She was a member of Port City Church where she had been active in Bible Study. Mary enjoyed sewing, sailing, being with family and friends, spending time with and laughing with her husband, but most of all, she loved her time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her husband, Gene; 2 children: Kimberly (Chad) Wilson, Colleen (Tom) Merkins; 3 step-children: Amber Fowler, Andrew (Winter Morgan) Fowler, Alexis Fowler; grandchildren: Kaylee Fowler, Ryder, Brynley, and Aynsley Merkins; brother, Thomas (Sherry) Miller; sister, Maureen (Tom) Tyler; sisters-in-law: Katherine Palazzolo-Whyman, Yvonne Fowler, Janet Bourdon; many nieces and nephews; and the father of her 2 children, David Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joseph and Kevin Miller. SERVICES for Mary will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Port City Church (3387 Heights Ravenna Rd.) with Pastor Steve Derdowski officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 PM Friday, September 8, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
