Mary Lou Grasmeyer's Obituary
Mary Grasmeyer, age 78, passed away in Grand Haven early Monday morning, August 11, 2014. She was born on February 14, 1936 to Clarence and Beatrice (King) Ford in Muskegon. Mary enjoyed art and design and graduated from Kendall College in Grand Rapids. In 1953, she married Robert R. Grasmeyer and he preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by 2 daughters, Kay (Michael) Snell of Whitehall and Rebecca Pogue of Rockford; four grandchildren, Arin Copenhaver, Elizabeth Gomez-Sanchez, Emily (Jeff) Glass and Taylor Pogue; 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Bette Ann (George) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Ott and sister, Carol Lohman. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 15, 2014 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Doug Ogden officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions to Hospice of North Ottawa would be appreciated.
