Mary J. Hamann's Obituary
Mary J. Hamann, age 53, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. She was born August 11, 1967 in Muskegon to Vernon and Carolyn (Kies) Price and was a lifelong resident. She married Michael Hamann and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2017. Prior to retiring in 2015, Mary worked over 25 years in inventory replenishment for Meijer in North Muskegon. She was an active and involved member of Real Friend Bible Church where she also served as treasurer and taught Sunday School. Church was her life and Mary lived her ministry in being selfless and giving to every person she met. She cared about others more than she cared for herself and will be greatly missed by her church family. Survivors include her father, Vernon Price; and 3 sisters, Kathy Daul, Nancy Dunlap and Paula Jean Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her mother, Carolyn Kies-Genson; and her brother, James Price. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Real Friend Bible Church (2065 W. Giles Rd.) with Pastor Joshua Chittenden officiating. Interment will take place at Mona View Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Real Friend Bible Church.
