Mary "Helen" Stone's Obituary
Mrs. Mary “Helen” Stone, age 89, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born on January 3, 1930 to Leon and Emma (Edwards) Muckey in Muskegon Heights. On October 9, 1961 she married Robert “Stoney” L. Stone. Mary Helen loved to play bingo, cross stitch and do crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling to Texas and Mexico with her husband. Mary is survived by her children, Larry (Nikki) Stone, Terry Stone, Gary (Cindy) Stone, Berry (Patty) Stone, Jerry (Carie) Stone, Robert Michael Stone and Sue Boelkins; daughter-in-law, Jaime Ireland; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Stoney;” her sons, Leon Ireland and Roger Ireland; daughter, Sharon Ireland; granddaughter, Lisa Boelkins and parents. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, October 13 from 2-4PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI, 49441. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 11AM at Covenant Community Church (134 East Barney Ave, 49444) with Pastor Mark Bush officiating.
