Mrs. Mary Jane Seid's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Jane Seid, age 89, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 25, 2014 at an area hospital. Mary Jane was born November 22, 1924 in Port Huron to Edgar and Deborah (Cole) Cantelon. On June 14, 1946, she married William E. Seid in Detroit. She was a wonderful homemaker and a very good cook. Mary Jane was a member of Dalton Baptist Church. She was a faithful minister’s wife, involved throughout the years as a planner, Sunday School Teacher, a generous meal provider and a wonderful compliment to her husband’s ministry. Mary Jane was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Rev. William E.; her children, William G. (Mary Lynn) Seid of Muskegon, Deborah (Carl) Vigliarolo of Grand Rapids and Timothy W. (SuAnn) Seid of Richmond, IN; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar (Gloria) Cantelon of Clarkston, MI and John Cantelon of Burton, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Robert and James Cantelon. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Friday, March 7, 2014 at Dalton Baptist Church (3777 Holton Rd.) with Rev. Robert DeWitt officiating. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Dalton Baptist Church.
