Mary Ann Janusch's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ann Janusch, age 95, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her home in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 23, 1925 to Frank and Anna (Simik) Zezulka and graduated from Chadsey High School in 1942. On March 5, 1946, Mary married Frederick A. Janusch and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014. Mary had worked as a purchasing agent for Dake Corporation prior to her retirement in 1991. She spent 26 years as the president of the Friends of the Spring Lake District Library, and over 40 years total as a volunteer. Mary was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is survived by her two children, Mark (Julie) Janusch of Detroit and Karen (Garry) Pogue of Bay City; five grandchildren, Amy (Ray) Cull, Jenny Pogue, Sean (Stephanie) Pogue, Jason (Mira Burack) Janusch, Annie (Eugene Sampson) Janusch; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; her parents; and brother, Frank Zezulka. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held in the Spring.
