Mary Jo Bradley's Obituary
Mary Jo Bradley, age 73, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice. She was born January 14, 1953 in Muskegon to Henry and Helen (Fixel) Brown. Mary Jo served as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and had been stationed in numerous places, including Germany during the Persian Gulf War. After retiring from the service, Mary Jo worked as a Police Officer for the City of Little Rock, AR and retired in 2000. She loved to coach softball and basketball during her time in Little Rock. Mary Jo was an animal lover – especially to her fur babies, Oliver and Olivia. She also enjoyed traveling to Canada and different places with Kerrie Hurlbut, her partner of 30+ years. Survivors include 3 sisters, Patricia O’Connell, Marcia Ahearn, Ann Dubois; 1 brother, Bernie (Arta) Brown; 2 nieces, Elizabeth DuBois-Quail, Theresa O’Connell; 1 nephew, Tony Ahearn; and 2 great-nephews, Eric and Edric DuBois-Quail. She was preceded in death by her parents; her nephew, Gerald Dubois II; and her partner, Kerrie Hurlbut. In honoring Mary Jo’s wishes, there will be no public services.
