Mrs. Mary C. Knotts' Obituary
Mrs. Mary C. Knotts, age 92, passed away peacefully Friday evening, October 4, 2013 at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Neosha Falls, KS on February 25, 1921 to Claude and Amelia (Welter) Masten and moved to Muskegon in 1955. Mary had worked for 25 years as a medical technician for Dr. August and Dr. John Wallace and then for Visiting Nurses before her retirement. Mary was a loving and caring woman. She was very passionate about helping others and each year would generously support several charities and organizations. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Halford C. Knotts; her son, Edward Alan “Duke” Knotts and dear friend, Artha Flynn. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Kelly; special friends, Pauline and Dan Meier, Barb and Chuck Devette, Jan Marie and Sandy Sumners; loving caregivers, Julie (Jerry) Minzey, Bridgette and Kathy; and her faithful cat, Sassy. According to Mrs. Knotts’ wishes, no services will take place. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, IN.
